Lord Henry Wotton, played by the actor Simon Coury, in an adaptation of Oscar Wilde's 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'. The shadow is cast by the easel and frame of the painting that is the subject of the play. Mr Coury took this pose for me during rehearsals for the drawing.
