Buttermilk
An abandoned thatched cottage in the west of Ireland, with all the furnishings just left to decay. I was struck by the cool light flooding into the darkened boarded-up room, and the beautiful textures of the rusting butter churn. The torn lace curtain looked to me like milk pouring from a jug.
