Sphinx-like rocks seem to stand guard over the Atlantic mist, while feral goats detect an intruder in their remote mountain haunt. The horizontal foreground rocks suggest a protective 'cheval de frise' barrier (as at Dún Aengus on the Aran Islands in the distance) and lead the viewer's eye diagonally through the larger rocks to the watchful goats.
