Archaeologists had been working beside our house on several sites dating from the 4th to the 14th century. Artefacts found included a large bronze cloak pin, dating from the early Christian period. This portrait was developed from an earlier charcoal study of one of the archaeologists.

Later, I found late 12th-century monastic foundations in my garden.
