I met this fine gentleman, John Flint, at the Olson House in South Cushing, Maine, the old wooden seafaring inn that features in Andrew Wyeth's iconic painting Christina's World. To suggest the reverie I merged receding decades of the peeling wallpaper from the upper floor with the islands at the mouth of the St George River.
